The people in my community deserve to receive all the support that our Barangay should give most especially during this crisis. Thank you so much.)
I would like to ask for your help to share these photos on your page. I live in Purok 1, Barangay Sucat and I found this posted on “Taga Sucat Muntinlupa Ka Kung…” page at 10:30 pm on March 26th. It has been almost 2weeks since the lockdown and up until now our neighborhood still haven’t received any goods from our barangay.
It was posted on Muntinlupa City Official Facebook Page that last March 22nd and 23rd, 2,000 goods were already distributed in Sucat but there was no single bag of relief goods arrived for Purok 1. In fact, among all the five Puroks in Brgy. Sucat, Purok 1 is the poorest and is always left behind in every event in the community. Whenever it’s the election period, all their flyers and leaflets are being stuck in every house along the road and even inside the compounds. Why those who claim leadership can’t be seen and heard in times of crisis where they are most needed?
Sadly, this gesture has to be made for them to be heard and get noticed. I would like to help my neighbors who have been patiently waiting for assistance from our community. I’ve been hearing some of them cry for help whenever a patrol is announcing a reminder about quarantine but it’s frustrating that they were just ignored. If there will be delays, it’s much more appropriate to also announce the estimated day as to when they can distribute the goods in our place. Boosting the citizen’s morale is also necessary in our current situation.
