Philippines is ASEAN’S  fastest growing economy and now going number 1 in the world for 2015 in investment destination, a place with a good investment climate. It has a strong economic fundamentals,  good governance,  lots of skilled workers that are educated and motivated.

World Bank said that “The Philippines is no longer a sick man in Asia, It’s now Asia’s rising tiger.”

I suggest that this people who made this analysis live here in the Philippines, especially have them reside in the country side of southern or Central Mindanao…

    • Kindly check your so called mahihirap… hindi naman sila lahat nagsusumikap. Naghihirap na nga nagsusugal pa. Naghihirap na nga tanghaling tapat tulog pa. Maybe they are the reasons for their present condition. Marami naman dating mahirap pero ngayon they live a different life…. be thankful sometimes…. if we dont learn to be grateful of the small things how can we receive the great change were longing…

  10. Now, this is something that the opposition can not just rebuke or play a joke with. It is concrete evidence of good management for Pnoy & Co. which is crystal clear and coming straight from the “horse mouth” – the World Bank!!! Congratulation Pres. Aquino for a job well done!!!

Tumingin ka sa buo mong kapaligiran at ang daming industries at ito ay “hot” investments … meaning naglalagay ng puhunan ang dayuhan sa industryang local at kahit na sa mga banko man o komersyo ay bumibili sila ng malalaking share … dahil sa nagtitiwala sila sa nakikitang kaunlaran. Marunong ka bang tumigin o kumilatis ng stock trend at indexes?? Kung marunong … i-kompara mo sa iba at isama mo na ang mga G7 countries … tapos sabihin mo sa akin ang resulta. Pati na nga sa turismo … sikat ang Pinas eh.

    • Maka pinoy ako, hindi naman ako bulag. Pina bayan niya mga tao na malulong sa droga. Mahina talaga siya. Hindi ako bumoto kay Duterte Pero tama siya. Ginagawa niya ang tama ngayon kaya susuportahan ko siya. Ayaw lang sa kanya ang mga drug addicts. Hindi na pwede ang mga illegal drugs. Mga bata ang kinabukasan ng atin bansa. Para sa ikakaunlad ng bansa lipulin lahat ang illegal drugs.

  11. i think we should give more credit to the OFWs, it is from their dollar remittances that help a lot in the economy. It also means that there are not enough job opportunities in our country that one should go abroad for a greener pasture and leave their families behind.

    • OFW is only a part not the core…while OFW were only attracted to foreign dollars, yet today Our country becomes an attraction to Foreign Investors as No.1 in the whole world.

      • That is because we show them (OFW’S) kung anung klase tayong workers so they are thinking to invest in the Philippines but still we need to ensure their safety, and if the graft and corruption remain rampant hindi pa rin mararamdaman ng ordinary citizen ang growth dahil sila lang sa government ang nakikinabang

        • Sa mga hindi nakaiintindi, Philippines doing good kasi dahil sa mga OFW at BPO. 10% of GDP galing sa OFW. Translation, umaalis pa ang mga kabayan natin para magibang bansa dahil mahirap pa ang buhay sa Pilipinas. Number 1 export natin ay kabayan natin. Concerning BPO, cheap labor ang Philipinas. conducive for business. On paper we’re doing good pero sa hindi sa magandang paraan. Someday gusto kong Makita na hindi na nagiibang bayan ang mga pinoy. Walang corruption at safe tayo sa mga krimen.

      • Ang heroes, nagpapakamartyr para sa bayan, adhikain, o ibang tao. Kapag bayad ka, empleyado ang tawag dun kahit gaano kahirap ang gawain. Anlaki pa nga ng bayad sa mga OFW. Huwaran na magulang siguro ang pwedeng ituring sa kanila. Pero wag naman nating pababain ang ibig sabihin ng salitang BAYANI.

    • May reason kung bakit nasa classes D and E sila. Poor education, harsh environment, etc. Nakakalungkot man pero matagal bago masolusyunan ang mga problemang iyan. Pasensya at tuloy tuloy na programa ang kailangan para matulungan ang classes na yan. Hindi lang opportunity kundi pati pagkuha ng opportunity ang dapat ibigay sa mga sadlak sa kahirapan.

  17. This is not just about the President’s accomplishment, or that of the administration. This is the accomplishment of all the hardworking people and the brave investors. This is economy we are talking about and not just politics. At best, we can say that if indeed there is less corruption during the present administration, then that would have facilitated foreign/local investments. However, it is ultimately the working and investing people who control the market and who we should thank.

  18. The Philippines could have achieved that goal a long time ago if not for these prevailing corruptions in the government. How long could we sustain this economic rise? We may be in that direction now yet most Filipinos felt the rich becomes richer and the poor gets poorer, crimes are increasing and drugs proliferating. It’s about time to change the administration so we can speed up this economic boom.

  22. All this supposedly good international “image” would be meaningless if it does not translate to better lives for our people. So far, it is only the greedy business people, the oligarchs and their politician friends who are enjoying the “fruits” of the so called “rising tiger” economy. Many of our people remain poor because the supposed benefits does not trickle down to ordinary working class. The World Bank is saying this because it wants our mostly foreign educated/”brainwashed” and most likely unpatriotic government leaders to continue with its locally unfavorable national policies like guaranteed payment of our foreign debts even at the expense of the interests of ordinary people. Real progress cannot be measured by GDP and the like but rather by the quality of life that ordinary people have.

How come there are more people who dwell jobless despite being able to earn a degree. it’s because the jobs are not made to become applicable to the courses and no application of your finished course.

  27. Philippines is going on the right track. It’s time to get behind Pres. Duterte. We have a brave Pres.yet compassionate. This kind of leadership attracts investors local or international that creates jobs for the Filipinos. Investors are looking for a place where there is stable government that protects their investment. Don’t believe to those who says our government is worse than the previous. Just do your share as Filipino to cooperate to be a part of this government.

    East has risen. Marcos tried it in the past but failed by its people.
    It will defeat the west but it will also be betrayed by the west.
    Which West will take it and which West will betray it. China is at
    the West wing of Philippines but the known Western County in the
    world is USA. Which of them will take Philippine side and which
    country will betray it. So far the little man from the East welcomed
    China. The USA had lost its friend. Will China betray Philippines? If
    I were China I would let Philippines have the Spratley Island but at
    the same time ties with Philippines economically, militarily and be
    united with Philippines to Unite Asia. United Asia will strengthen
    Asian Territory which will include Russia at the top, ASEAN on the
    East-side and South-side and China on the West-side. China will play
    the critical role in this game of security. USA will use “False
    Flag Attack”to destroy the trust between Asian countries. So before
    that happens All Asia must show unity to be able to secure a United
    Asia. Japan must joint ASEAN, so with Korean North and Korean South
    and Taiwan also. Three stars to join together to secure United Asia.
    Russia, China and ASEAN to form new Alliance. Then stablish New
    ASIANBANK. World bank is now obsolete, fragmented and no more gold to
    back world currency. This is just my opinion.
