The equipment was received by the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) Region-10 officer line-2 Rey Peter Gillye, to be used in the massive reconstruction and rehabilitation of the now war-torn Marawi City.

Engineer Omra Panggaga, a Region-10 equipment management division head said that they will first check it one by one to find out what is lacking, like the hydraulic oil or engine oil and fuel.

The officials from the DPWH will conduct a ceremonial turnover and will be attended by the Chinese ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua. President Rodrigo Duterte is also expected to attend the ceremony before transferring the equipment to Marawi City. – J.Carl.
