North Korea threatened to sink the United States aircraft carrier voicing out to the world on Sunday that the bottom of the ocean will be its final resting place.
North Korea’s state-run daily newspaper Rodong Sinmun said in an article the nation is prepared to illustrate its “military forces and are combat-ready to sink a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with a single strike,”
The USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier is on its way and will be joined by Japanese Ashigara destroyers and Samidare destroyer doing joint tactical training drills near the Philippines in the western Pacific Ocean, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force said.
The state newspaper claimed to have weaponry which “can reach the mainland United States the Asia Pacific region” and the “absolute weapon,” hydrogen bomb. – JCE.
