A United States Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain has just arrived yesterday for a brief routine port call in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Amid the visit, the US navy crews of McCain will conduct sporting events and likewise participate in a series of community service projects in the Southern part of the country.

The USS John S. McCain serves as a forward warship to the US Seventh Fleet area of operations assigned in supporting the security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
