A P5-billion peso world-class International Container Terminal in Mindanao is set to unveil and inaugurate on Friday by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Situated on a 63-hectare Anflo Industrial Estate in Panabo City Davao del Norte. The Davao International Container Terminal Inc. (DICT) has a modern facilities and services which ensure a global competitiveness of Mindanao’s export-grade products such as cavendish banana, pineapple, and rubber.
Within the next two years, container handling at the DICT is expected to double.
DICT is a former San Vicente Terminal and Brokerage Services Inc. that possesses a long history in port operations, servicing the stevedoring and arrastre requirements of break bulk shipments of fresh produce agri-plants like bananas and pineapples at Tagum Agriculture Development Corp. (Tadeco) wharf.
Tadeco is the lead and flagship company of Anflocor and is considered as the worldwide pioneer in the banana business as far as yield per hectare. – JCE.
