A P93-billion overseas development assistance for the Philippines has pledged by the Japanese government for the immediate construction of North-South Railway Project.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made his commitment during a visit to the Philippines for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting.
By constructing a commuter railway from Tutuban, Manila up to Malolos, Bulacan it will help decongest the traffic in Metro Manila and hopefully by the year 2021 the project is expected to be completed. – Carl E.
