Island in Subic, Zambales – Regarding the Goodwill Visit of Royal Australian Navy (RAN) ships, Her Majesty’s Australian Ship (HMAS) Arunta (FFH-151) and HMAS Sirius (O-266), held a standard Passing Exercise (PASSEX) with BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PF-16) Oct 11, 2015.

The ships conducted maneuvering, visual correspondences and production activities using the Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea (CUES), a non-tying tenets of-the-street understanding between the 21 part countries of the Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) which offers a wellbeing measure and a way to confine shared impedance, to point of confinement instability and to encourage correspondence when maritime boats experience one another in an impromptu way.

The activity will improve the capacity and aptitudes of the navy and advance participation and interoperability between the two naval forces. Besides, the activity additionally allowed us to build up an expert association with our partners making us a more proficient power working in cooperative energy adrift.

HMAS Arunta and HMAS Sirius touched base at Subic on Oct 7, 2015 for a goodwill visit which flags the extending relationship and association between the PN and RAN. The visit included a few certainty building exercises between PN staff and their meeting partners that included ship’s visit, affability calls, and games occasions.
