Manila South Harbor – The USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) lead by Commander John Barsano of the US Navy docked in Manila Harbor, Sunday, September 6, 2015 for a 3-day goodwill visit to the Philippines as a major aspect of their standard port of calls to South East Asia.

The goodwill visit is a 3-day series of engagements between PH Navy work force and their meeting partners that included ship’s visit with NROTC cadets and some sports activities that aims to create an avenue for cultural exchanges. The US Navy with their Filipino partners led a community outreach activity as a goodwill and demonstration of service in Philippine Navy Officers’ Wives Association (PNOWA) Learning Center at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The activity will offer a stage for learning, skills and social trades. It additionally further reinforces the long-term friendship shared by the US Navy staff and their Filipino counterparts.
