China’s ongoing reclamation of reefs to turn into an island on 5 strategic areas in the contested Spratly Islands well within the Philippine maritime zone are not mainly focus on constructing its military bases such as airstrip and garrison but also to build a man-made like beach resort similar to the Boracay Islands beach in the Philippines. It is just like a simple as a copy paste of Boracay Beach to the Spratly.
A confidential Malacañang report detailed the land reclamation activities of China in five areas, namely Johnson South (Mabini) Reef, Cuarteron (Calderon) Reef, Hughes (Kennan) Reef, Gaven (Burgos) Reef and Eldad (Malvar) Reef.
Apparently, China was busy carrying out reclamation work in four more areas, namely Cuarteron Reef, Hughes Reef, Gaven Reef and Eldad Reef.
The same Malacañang report estimates Beijing will likely start land reclamation work at Fiery Cross Reef and Subi Reef first.
China has built a formidable garrison at Fiery Cross Reef, where some 200 troops are stationed and which contains air and surface search radars as well as satellite data transmission facilities.
The Fiery Cross garrison also has helicopter landing pads and a wharf. The garrison is heavily armed with naval guns and is considered China’s main headquarters within the Philippines’ Kalayaan Island Group.
The Chinese garrison in Subi Reef also has around 200 troops stationed as well as helicopter landing pads.
China was tagged as the duplicator of every branded product worldwide. Meaning they make fake products out of the original one. “Copycat” And this means that they can also duplicate or make many Boracay beaches as many as they can on every area of the Spratly Island.
This was revealed by a top Chinese military official. According to him, they are doing this to ease congestion of their local beaches. He said, “Since South China sea is our territory the best place is the Spratly island”, and it is very easy for us to turn this into a tropical beach paradise and a great diving destination for our local tourist and it could be much cheaper, unlike Boracay in the Philippines that is more expensive. It will also serve this as a shield on any attack or bombardment if ever ASEAN countries like the Philippines or Vietnam wishes to grab and make decisive moves and action on our territory.”(Source: China Chinhua News – CCN)
Meanwhile, the Philippine government is strictly and continuously monitoring the situation in Kalayaan island or Spratly, They can’t make any provocative moves so as not to complicate the situation that could affect the ongoing territorial case they filed against China.
Wow they pirate the design and sofware of iphone, samsung etc, now they want to copy the Boracay.
why don’t the chinese duplicate the moon??? create one for themselves nyahahahahaha!
I do not agree with China’s Way of taking the REGION… But I do APPLAUDE the idea of making a NEW TOUTIST SITE there…
